Registered attendees will have access to a selection of discussion panels that include GIS professionals. Attendees can listen in as GIS professionals tell their stories and discuss how meaningful their work has contributed to:

Games & Prizes
Students can register to join a live geography based game and compete for prizes.

GIS Essay Contest
Students can submit an essay about GIS and compete for an award and prizes. Because this is a state-wide event we ask teachers to limit the essay submissions to three (3) per school. Each essay will be reviewed by a panel of GIS professionals. Click here for more details.
GIS Labs
Students can register for a seat in one of our GIS Labs. We are offering live GIS Labs where the students can enjoy an interactive experience using GIS technology.

GeoMentor Panel for Teachers
The AAG- Esri ConnectED GeoMentor Program is working to enhance GIS and geography education in US K-12 schools through the introduction of GIS into classrooms across the country. It connects teachers to the GIS world. Join a live discussion panel featuring GIS software representatives, GeoMentors, and K-12 school teachers as they discuss offerings and success stories.
